What is it about

The Fuel consumption report provides the average level of fuel consumption as well as the fuel burnt (the totals as well as the values for each equipment utilization status) in a certain time interval. This report calculation is based on CAN data.

Generate a report

How to choose a time frame, select the unit(s) and display the report

1 To generate the Fuel consumption report you will need to choose a time frame in the left hand side column. The lapse of time cannot exceed 180 days.

2 Then choose and select one or several unit(s) in the middle column by clicking on the "+" icon. The number selected cannot exceed 25 units.

3 The third and last column gives you an overview of the units you have selected. If you have changed your mind and if you want to remove one or several unit(s) click the "-" icon or the "Remove all" button in the top right corner.

4 Once you have set your mind click "Generate".

You can also use the switch feature directly inside the reports to switch from one report to another with the same unit(s) and the same time period selection.

Fuel consumption

Overall values and values by equipment utilization statuses

Inside the Fuel consumption reports you will find 4 tabs.

1 Above the four tabs the totals are displayed: total fuel burned, total on hours and total fuel average.

The total fuel average equals the total fuel burned divided by the total on hours.

We will focus first on the tabs dedicated to Fuel consumption (per status as well as overall total).

2 In the fuel consumption per status tab you will find the fuel consumption of the unit(s) selected in each equipment utilization statuses so that you can understand how much fuel the equipment spent while working or idling.

3 In the fuel consumption tab you will find the total fuel spent regardless of the statuses.

Keep in mind that our graphs are always interactive so do not hesitate to pass the mouse on the bar or click them!

Fuel burned

Overall values and values by equipment utilization statuses

Now let's have a look at the third and fourth tabs dedicated to fuel burned.

As a first comment note that the fuel burned histograms are only present in the cellular tab. In the satellite tab it is substituted by a warning message.

Now moving towards definition, the fuel burned for each unit is the fuel consumption value multiplied by the "on" hours.

On the report you will find two tabs dedicated to the fuel burned:

1 In the fuel burned per status tab you will find the fuel burned of the unit(s) selected in each equipment utilization statuses so that you can understand how much fuel the equipment burned while working or idling for example.

2 In the fuel burned tab you will find the total fuel burned regardless of the statuses.

Keep in mind that our graphs are always interactive so do not hesitate to pass the mouse on the bar or click them!

The satellite tab

Only availble if you have bought a satellite modem

In the satellite tab, only the total equipment value is displayed (the fuel burned histograms are only present in the cellular tab).

Values will be displayed in the satellite tab only if the piece of equipment is in a place where cellular network is not available. If the cellular network works, nothing will be displayed in the satellite tab to avoid miscalculation on fuel consumption datas.
